Sardar Khush bhi hua aur shabaashi bhi di

IPL Season 2 was hit by major hurdle. Election 2009 , the biggest event in democracy of India and biggest event in world forum considering the number of people going to vote.

It was not easy to arrange election of such huge volume. Our election commissioner did great job by conducting such huge exercise..

But this election was hurdle for IPL sardar , Mr Lalit Modi. He wanted ipl to go on.. Ofcourse government did right thing .If there was a choice to be made between IPL and Elections , election being more important had to go on and IPL could wait...

But sardar didnt wanted to wait. He first threatened to take ipl to abroad then acted upon it. Two boards were contacted . England and south africa. Both were willing , after all yeh paiso ka maamla tha :-)...

In end rain god washed england's desire to host ipl and IPL was given to south africa. Ironically rain did play role of frustating people , cricketers in south africa too...

Never the less in short span of mere 3 weeks entire arrangement was made and IPL-Season 2 went ahead. It became biggest event in south africa ..

It had all turns and twist to make a blockbuster which it did. In end the deccan chargers proved that they are not dakhans any more and royal challengers passed test of 20-20 after being dubbed as test team...

KKR lost most matches but made most of money being 2nd highest in money making thing. Rajasthan too generated big big profit and each franchise earned whooping 25 crore a piece on broadcasting rights...BCCI is expected to do profit of 450 crores!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sardar Khush bhi hua aur kal thank you speech mein shabasshi bhi di....IPL is getting bigger and bigger by every year...
